The new Skilled Immigration Act (FEG) makes it easier for skilled workers with vocational training and individuals with practical knowledge to immigrate to Germany.

The new law has several parts. New employment and recognition rules will enter in force from June 2024. The newly introduced job search opportunity card (“Chancenkarte”) will enable jobseekers to stay in Germany to look for employment.
